According to them, their business has hit been hard following the outbreak hence experiencing low patronage.
They explained that, regular customers from whom they used to make lots of money no more patronize them for fear of contracting the deadly disease.
Speaking to Accra based radio Kasapa FM on condition of anonymity, monitored by this reporter said, although they have made provision of precautionary measures for their members yet people are afraid to patronise their service.
"We've made sanitizers and wipes available for our customers to clean themselves after sex, they still don’t patronize our services."
"Life is now difficult for us; business is not booming and we're suffering. These Chinese people have really cause us harm. Now when the men are passing and we call them, they attack u verbally and are quick to see their wives." She said bitterly.
They also complained about how Ghanaians have misunderstood the whole concept after President's address on the lockdown.
"People have taken the whole issue differently. The President said only services at churches and mosques should be suspended, I didn’t hear him saying prostitutes should stop work. But now people do not stay long in town, they've all been lockdown. We are still working so the men should patronize us so that we can get some money to fend for ourselves and family.” She said.
